Hello and thanks for stopping by my luxury soap boutique!  

LUXE LIPIDS is a Latina-woman owned, small business that specializes in formulating handcrafted, luxurious hand and body soap along with other products including sugar scrubs, hand creams and more. As the "Chief Lather Officer" my intent is to elevate your bathing and skincare routine by leveraging the many wonderful ingredients gifted to us by nature.    

My carefully crafted soap bars are made in small batches using the cold process method of soap making. I source high quality, skin-loving oils, butters and additives - like clays, silk and colloidal oats - from around the globe to create luxurious bars with a generous superfat and a creamy lather. Each bar is cut by hand, cures between 4 to 6 weeks, and dawns a simple label.   

Why use natural soap? Most commercial  "soaps" and body bars are actually made with detergents (synthetic materials) and are not true soap. True soap is made by combining fatty acids with an alkali. Making soaps by hand - "the old fashion way" - allows for greater control over the ingredients and the quality of the bar being produced. Also, true bar soap contains glycerin (a humectant) which is known to support moisture retention in the skin. In some commercially produced bars,  glycerin is actually removed. I prefer it stays in .  :-)
